MEET KATE TROTTER

I grew up in a small town, where my mother left no stone unturned to help me experience culture. Together we visited museums, watched Shakespeare plays, and strolled through art galleries.

These art expeditions shaped my view of women and the human form. I saw women depicted as ethereal figures, muses, and embodiments of both desire and purity. They painted and sculpted bodies as they actually look, and proclaimed them beautiful. Because of that, I refuse to subscribe to the over-edited, pornographic view our society has devolved into.

Boudoir photography has always been that alluring whisper in my ear, but for many years I talked myself out of it. When a school-related setback happened, all the stars seemed to be saying, “Go for it!” During this time of brainstorming the idea, someone told me I couldn’t do it. Naturally, I did a hair flip and said, “Watch me!” In the following months, my passion for this niche of photography only grew. I took over 60 hours of classes in addition to the school of trial and error before I was finally ready to launch my business!

It's an honor to get to know you and showcase the real and raw you have to offer!
